The Sango of the Democratic Republic of the Congo
The Sango of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, numbering about 2,100 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a riverine Ubangian people of Central Africa, traditionally living along the Ubangi (Oubangui) River in what is now the Central African Republic (CAR) and adjacent parts of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
They are a diaspora people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Sango.
