The Ngongo of the Democratic Republic of the Congo
The Ngongo of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, numbering about 322,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a people of the Dekese territory in DR Congo's Kasai region whose language is a dialect of Bushong, marking them as one of the historic constituent groups of the Kuba Kingdom.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-South people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Ngongo.
