The Mayogo of the Democratic Republic of the Congo
The Mayogo of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, numbering about 293,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Ubangian people of northeastern DRC's Uele River basin, conquered and incorporated into the Mangbetu kingdom under King Nabiembali in the early 1800s alongside the neighboring Madi, Bangba, and Barambo peoples.
They are an indigenous people in the Sudanic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Mayogo.
