The Dompago of Togo
The Dompago of Togo, numbering about 25,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Gur-speaking farming people, also called Yoa-Lokpa, settled around Kemerida in Benin's Atakora Province with related communities across the border in Togo, their Lukpa language still in stable everyday use despite no formal place in schooling.
They are an indigenous people in the Gur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Lukpa.
