The Ana of Togo

The Ana of Togo, numbering about 203,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are the westernmost Yoruba subgroup, tracing origin to Ile-Ife in Nigeria, whose ancestors migrated into Togo and Benin during seventeenth-century tribal wars and settled around Atakpame amid Gur-speaking neighbors.

They are an indigenous people in the Yoruba people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Ifè.
