The Gola of Sierra Leone
The Gola of Sierra Leone, numbering about 17,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a West African people who migrated into Liberia and Sierra Leone as early as the 1300s from the Ivory Coast area, credited with the Kissi as among the region's oldest inhabitants and the historic source of the Sande and Poro societies.
They are an indigenous people in the Atlantic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Gola.
