The Tangale of Nigeria
The Tangale of Nigeria, numbering about 330,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Gombe State people of Nigeria whose oral tradition traces migration from Yemen through Egypt to Borno before settling the Akko, Billiri, Kaltungo, and Shongom areas by the 1400s, organized into ten clans formed during Fulani jihad-era raiding.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Tangale.
