The Pero of Nigeria
The Pero of Nigeria, numbering about 58,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a farming people of the Gombe River Valley in northeastern Nigeria's Gombe State, whose ancestors migrated from the Adamawa region in the 1600s and are traditionally led by a ruler called the Talban Pero.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Pero.
