The Ogbia of Nigeria

The Ogbia of Nigeria, numbering about 454,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a riverine Niger Delta people of Nigeria's Bayelsa State organized into four historic clans, whose territory around Oloibiri became internationally significant in 1956 as the site of Nigeria's first commercial oil discovery.

They are an indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Ogbia.
