The Nkem-Nkum of Nigeria
The Nkem-Nkum of Nigeria, numbering about 80,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Ekoid people of Cross River State speaking the closely related Nkem and Nkum dialects, whose Nkem-speaking communities trace a historical westward resettlement from Nkimtul in Bokyi to their present home in the Ogoja region.
They are an indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Nkem-Nkum.
