The Megili of Nigeria
The Megili of Nigeria, numbering about 122,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Koro subgroup of central Nigeria's Nasarawa State whose oral tradition traces origin to the Borno region, driven out of Kano by a Hausa-Kanuri alliance and scattering into settlements around Lafia, Kubacha, and Suleja.
They are an indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Lijili.
