The Longuda of Nigeria
The Longuda of Nigeria, numbering about 116,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are Nigeria's only known matrilineal tribe, tracing clan membership through the mother's line, whose oral tradition claims Yemeni origins alongside the Kanuri before settling the hills of the Longuda Plateau in Adamawa and Gombe states.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Longuda.
