The Lakka of Nigeria
The Lakka of Nigeria, numbering about 10,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Laka people of northern Cameroon, southern Chad, and CAR with a minor presence in Nigeria's Borno State, pushed south from Lake Chad by Fulani expansion, whose land ownership remains tied to founding ancestors' burial sites.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Kaba.
