The Kamo of Nigeria

The Kamo of Nigeria, numbering about 45,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are farmers of Gombe State's Kaltungo area organized into five clans, tracing oral origins to Yemen and having descended from Kamo Hill onto the surrounding plains over the twentieth century.

They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Kamo.
