The Otwa of Nigeria
The Otwa of Nigeria, numbering about 22,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Edoid people of Owan and Akoko-Edo local government areas in Nigeria's Edo State, whose oral tradition traces settlement from migrations out of the Benin region and adjacent Yoruba territory centuries ago.
They are an indigenous people in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Ghotuo.
