The Gera of Nigeria
The Gera of Nigeria, numbering about 325,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnic group native to Bauchi State in northeastern Nigeria. They are the traditional inhabitants of the city of Bauchi and surrounding areas in northern Bauchi and southern Ganjuwa districts.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Gera.
