The Fyer of Nigeria
The Fyer of Nigeria, numbering about 52,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a West Chadic people of Plateau State's Pankshin area in Nigeria whose oral tradition traces a migration from the Lake Chad basin through Borno and Bauchi before settling the Jos Plateau hills as refuge from Fulani jihad-era raiding.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Fyer.
