The Egba of Nigeria
The Egba of Nigeria, numbering about 6,145,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Yoruba subgroup tracing ancestry to Ile-Ife and Oduduwa's son Orafiyan, who founded Abeokuta under Sodeke's leadership after fleeing the Oyo Empire's collapse and later defeated Dahomey's army in an 1851 battle.
They are an indigenous people in the Yoruba people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Neo-Pentecostalism, and they primarily speak Yoruba.
