The Bura of Nigeria
The Bura of Nigeria, numbering about 576,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Indigenous Chadic-speaking people of northeastern Nigeria centered on the Biu Plateau, whose identity developed through longstanding settlement in the region and close historical ties with the related Pabir communities.
They are an indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Bura-Pabir.
