The Bachama of Nigeria

The Bachama of Nigeria, numbering about 345,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Bwatiye people of Adamawa State whose oral history traces migration from Sudan through Sokoto to the Upper Benue region, founding the Bachama Kingdom after twin brothers split following their father's death, later moving its capital to Numan.

They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Neo-Pentecostalism, and they primarily speak Bacama.
