The Wodaabe Fulani of Niger
The Wodaabe Fulani of Niger, numbering about 120,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are cattle-herding Fulani nomads of Niger's Sahel whose name means those who dwell in cattle camps, moving camp roughly every three days and gathering each year at In-Gall for the Gerewol courtship festival of dance and male beauty display.
They are an indigenous people in the Fulani / Fulbe people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Nigerian Fulfulde.
