The Mamara Senufo of Mali
The Mamara Senufo of Mali, numbering about 2,245,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Senufo farming people of southeastern Mali, part of the Suppire-Mamara language branch and descended from ancestors who left the Niger River's inland delta near Mopti in search of fertile land.
They are an indigenous people in the Gur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Mamara Senoufo.
