The Nalu of Guinea-Bissau
The Nalu of Guinea-Bissau, numbering about 11,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a pre-Mande coastal people of the Rio Nunez and Tristao Islands straddling Guinea and Guinea-Bissau, settled before the Mandinka arrived in the 1400s and closely related to the neighboring Baga and Landuma peoples.
They are an indigenous people in the Atlantic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Nalu.
