The Mikifore of Guinea
The Mikifore of Guinea, numbering about 31,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Manding people descended from the Bambara, Koranko, and Malinke who trace origin to the 1300s Mali Empire, arriving in Guinea and Sierra Leone around 1600 and settling Boke and Boffa before spreading toward the northern borders through migration.
They are an indigenous people in the Mande people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Mogofin.
