The Konyagi of Guinea
The Konyagi of Guinea, numbering about 9,900 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Tenda people who call themselves Mey, original inhabitants of eastern Senegal's Tambacounda region who were scattered by 17th-century slaving raids from the Mandinka Kingdom of Wuli and neighboring Fulbe and Tukulor.
They are an indigenous people in the Atlantic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Wamey.
