The Nchumburu of Ghana
The Nchumburu of Ghana, numbering about 77,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Guan-speaking people of Ghana's Lake Volta region whose Chumburung kingdom in the Yeji-Atebubu-Kwame Danso triangle predates 1700, dispersed into small villages by Asante expansion and Gonja raids while maintaining ties to the Volta's waters.
They are an indigenous people in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Neo-Pentecostalism, and they primarily speak Chumburung.
