The Kasena of Ghana
The Kasena of Ghana, numbering about 199,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Gurunsi people of the Ghana-Burkina Faso border whose earthen homes are painted in black, white, and red patterns, historically separated from other Gurunsi groups when colonial powers partitioned the region between France and Britain.
They are an indigenous people in the Gur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Kasem.
