The Kusasi of Ghana
The Kusasi of Ghana, numbering about 714,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Gur-speaking people of Ghana's Bawku area whose ancestors migrated from Biengu, Zwaga, and Yuiga in present-day Burkina Faso to escape Mossi and Busani enslavement, celebrating the Samanpiid festival to give thanks for the harvest.
They are an indigenous people in the Gur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Kusaal.
