The Duguza of Nigeria
The Duguza of Nigeria, numbering about 7,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small Kainji-speaking people of Plateau and Bauchi states in Nigeria, known by the Hausa exonym Duguza though calling themselves Tunzu, with communities in Bauchi State increasingly assimilated into Hausa culture.
They are an indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Tunzu.
