The Anyi of Ghana

The Anyi of Ghana, numbering about 92,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Akan people who fled Ashanti conquest between the 16th and 18th centuries to found the gold-trading kingdoms of Indene, Sanwi, and Moronou along Cote d'Ivoire's Tano and Bia rivers, with a related migrating branch becoming known today as the Baoule.

They are an indigenous people in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Anyin.
