The Adangme of Ghana
The Adangme of Ghana, numbering about 1,025,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Ga-Dangme branch of southeastern Ghana's coast and lower Volta, from Kpone to Ada, whose oral tradition traces migration from the Lake Chad region down the Niger under King Ayi Kushi before settling the area by the 1600s.
They are an indigenous people in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Adangme.
