The Myene of Gabon
The Myene of Gabon, numbering about 95,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are one of Gabon's earliest Bantu coastal peoples, established by the time Portuguese explorers arrived in the 1400s, whose Orungu and Nkomi branches brokered trade between river routes and European ships until France abolished the Orungu monarchy in 1927.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Northwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Myene.
