The Yasa of Equatorial Guinea
The Yasa of Equatorial Guinea, numbering about 3,200 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Bantu coastal fishing people known as Iyasa or Yassa across Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, numbering only around 3,000 speakers of a language with numerous dialects, for which an official alphabet was adopted in Cameroon in 1979.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Northwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Iyasa.
