The Wan of Côte d’Ivoire
The Wan of Côte d’Ivoire, numbering about 45,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Southern Mande people of the Mwan-Wan language cluster in central Cote d'Ivoire, closely related to the neighboring Dan, Guro and Beng, distinct from the unrelated Kru-speaking Wane despite the similar name.
They are an indigenous people in the Mande people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Wan.
