The Bonjo of the Republic of the Congo
The Bonjo of the Republic of the Congo, numbering about 6,300 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small Bantu people of Congo's Likouala Department near Impfondo, speaking a Ngondi-Ngiri language closely related to Bomitaba, with younger generations increasingly shifting toward Lingala.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Bonjo.
