The Bayaka of the Republic of the Congo
The Bayaka of the Republic of the Congo, numbering about 48,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are one of at least eleven Pygmy groups in Central Africa.
They are an indigenous people in the Pygmy people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Yaka (Central African Republic).
