The Banda Yangere of Central African Republic, numbering about 51,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Banda subgroup of the Central African Republic known for elaborately carved wooden ritual objects and large animal-shaped slit drums once used to transmit messages, today settled farmers blending Protestant and Catholic faith with ancestral offerings.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Banda-Yangere.
