The Ngombe of Central African Republic
The Ngombe of Central African Republic, numbering about 19,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a riverine people known as the water people of the Congo-Ubangi river triangle, whose early 19th-century migration into Mongo territory sparked the conflicts remembered as the Lufembe War and War of the Dog.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Ngombe (Central African Republic).
