The Gbaya-Bossangoa of Central African Republic, numbering about 319,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Gbaya people whose ancestors fled Usman dan Fodio's jihad in early 1800s northern Nigeria under war chief Gazargamu, settling around Bossangoa before leading a 1928 revolt against forced conscription for the Congo-Ocean Railway.

They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Gbaya-Bossangoa.
