The Banda-Ndele of Central African Republic
The Banda-Ndele of Central African Republic, numbering about 69,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Banda people speaking the Central dialect of the Ubangian languages, decimated by 19th-century slave raids from Wadai, Darfur, and Khartoumer forces until the French suppressed the trade after founding Ubangi-Shari in 1903.
They are an indigenous people in the Sudanic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Banda-Ndélé.
