The Weh of Cameroon
The Weh of Cameroon, numbering about 16,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Tikar-descended chiefdom of Cameroon's Menchum Division that migrated from Bamun country and settled in its present site by the turn of the eighteenth century, traditionally organized under a fon governing five quarters.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Cameroon-Bamileke people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Weh.
