The Tigon Mbembe of Cameroon
The Tigon Mbembe of Cameroon, numbering about 122,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Jukunoid-speaking branch of the transnational Mbembe people straddling the Cameroon-Nigeria border, centered on the Ako Subdivision of Donga-Mantung Division, with each village led by a traditional Fon chief.
They are an indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Tigon Mbembe.
