The Terki of Cameroon
The Terki of Cameroon, numbering about 4,900 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Tchede people of Cameroon's village of Teleki, classified with the neighboring Gude within the broader Mandara cultural region, whose Mandara Kingdom was founded around 1500 by the female ruler Soukda before falling to Germany in 1902 and France in 1918.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Tsuvan.
