The Suga of Cameroon
The Suga of Cameroon, numbering about 31,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Mambiloid people who migrated south from Bibemi to found Galim around 1765 under chief Tukum Riicun, waging decades of armed resistance from mountain strongholds against Fula lamidates and German colonial forces alike.
They are an indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Suga.
