The Podoko of Cameroon
The Podoko of Cameroon, numbering about 74,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Mandara Mountains people of Cameroon's Mora area whose ancestors, per neighboring Dughwede and Guduf oral tradition, once held nearby Gwoza Hills land before being displaced into the densely settled Parekwa massifs as a slave-raid refuge.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Parkwa.
