The Dii of Cameroon
The Dii of Cameroon, numbering about 159,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Adamawa Plateau people so close to the neighboring Mbum that outsiders often cannot tell them apart, who came under 19th-century Fulani Muslim rule and intermarried extensively while retaining traditional spiritual beliefs into the 20th century.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Dii.
