The Mbum of Cameroon
The Mbum of Cameroon, numbering about 130,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Adamawa-Ubangi people of Cameroon and the Central African Republic so close to the neighboring Dii that outsiders struggle to distinguish them, coming under Fulani Muslim rule in the early 1800s and converting to Islam by the twentieth century.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Mbum.
