The Kolbila of Cameroon
The Kolbila of Cameroon, numbering about 5,700 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small Adamawa-language people of northern Cameroon closely related to the Samba Leko within the Pape language group, whose settlement history includes three resettlement waves in 1954, 1972, and 1976 into villages now near Faro National Park.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Kolbila.
