The Jukun of Cameroon
The Jukun of Cameroon, numbering about 5,100 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Cameroonian branch of the Jukun people, heirs to the Kwararafa confederacy that ruled the Benue River valley from the 14th to 18th centuries under a priest-king called the Aku Uka, a title still held today by the ruler of Nigeria's Wukari Federation.
They are an indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Jukun Takum.
