The Jina of Cameroon
The Jina of Cameroon, numbering about 3,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small community of Zina in Cameroon's Far North Region along the Logone River, within the historic Musgum-ruled Sultanate of Zina descended from the ancient Sao civilization that once controlled the region's riverine trade.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Jina.
